For the rest, I found all of it in some vintage blogs, with free-to-use pictures....

It's an allegory about Death. The hourglass flying away (with red sand, as red as...blood?) symbolises Time. This little girl cannot stop this race...

It's inspired by "Death and the Maiden", a concept derived from the Medieval "Dance of Death"
